How fast can someone actually get here?
Often the same day, especially for refrigerators and anything leaking. Call early in the day for the best chance at a same-day slot — by late afternoon we're usually booking for tomorrow.
What does the 30-day warranty cover?
Parts and labor on the work we performed. If the same fault returns within 30 days of the repair, we come back and make it right at no additional charge.
Do you work on high-end European appliances?
Yes — Miele, Bosch, Asko, Gaggenau, Liebherr and Fisher & Paykel are regular work for us, along with Sub-Zero, Viking, Wolf and Thermador. These need specific parts and procedures, which is exactly why people call a specialist instead of a general handyman.
Do you charge for the diagnosis?
Yes. Finding the real fault means a technician on site with tools and time, so the diagnostic visit carries a fee — we'll tell you exactly what it is when you book, before we come out. Once it's diagnosed, you get the full repair price and decide from there. No work starts until you say yes.
Is it worth repairing, or should I just replace it?
We'll tell you honestly once we've diagnosed it. If the repair costs more than the appliance is worth, you'll hear that from us — talking someone into a bad repair is how you never get called again.
Which parts of New York do you cover?
All five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. We don't travel outside the city, which is what keeps our response times short inside it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, both. Many co-ops and condo buildings require a certificate of insurance before a contractor can work in the building — ask and we'll get it to your management office.
